Imagine an ideal day with me for a moment. You wake up with a grounded sense of being here now. You feel a lightness in your body, you have a clear mind, not rushing towards your ‘to do’ list for the day, but soaking in the first minutes of waking- noticing the sun coming in through the window.

Throughout the day when stress arises, you have an assured perspective. You notice your feet on the ground; You start to notice waves of emotions move through, tingling and buzzing, yet you feel empowered with this life force, instead of stuck or scared.

You end the day sinking into bed, feeling filled with contentment, as you body rests— muscles melting, mind quieting, before a deep sleep. We all deserve more of this grounded, contentment.  

Embodiment through modalities like Somatic Experiencing helps us find these spaces. Embodiment helps us find our truest essence that has always been present that stressors and trauma have robbed from us.
